Oxyaena are cat-like animals that lived fifty million of years ago. Oxyaenas are not pack living animals, they hunt alone for them selfs. They come together only as breeding pairs in mating season. It is interesting that only females hunt while males stay to guard the young. Oxyenas are powerful and smart hunters, however they only inhabit deep forests and wet regions. They can also dive to hunt fish and climb high trees to hunt birds.
